CIBI Essential

created from a habit I’ve always had [QUESTIONING.]

I’m Dimitri Panotis, creator of CIBI Essential.
This project was born from a personal inquiry - a return to what is essential, learning to listen to the body and inhabit awareness from a place that is simple, honest, and deep.

Why do I believe what I believe? Where do my habits come from? Who and what shapes the way I move through life? What do i want, when i get what i want?

Those questions have taken me into many spaces - sport, movement, wellbeing, entrepreneurship and agendaless conversations with people navigating change. Across all of them, the same pattern kept appearing: growth begins when we slow down enough to observe.

Through years of exploration, from coaching and welfare work to yoga, movement and wellbeing education - I learned that living well isn’t about escaping difficulty. It’s about engaging with it. Taking responsibility. Building resilience. Finding contentment without losing ambition.

CIBI exists as a place to hold those questions.

Not to rush answers but to live more intentionally through the process of asking.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about curiosity, awareness, and showing up.

WHY WAS CIBI CREATED?

Cibi Essential grew from noticing patterns.

For years, I moved through environments that value discipline, performance and output. I noticed how effective structure could be and also where it quietly failed people once the whistle blew, the session ended or the external framework disappeared.

I noticed the same thing in myself.

I was functioning, driven and capable yet curious about why motivation dipped, why certain habits repeated, and why effort didn’t always translate into clarity. The questions kept returning:

Why am I doing this? Where did this belief come from? Who shaped this pattern? Is there a better way?

Instead of pushing those questions aside, I followed them.

Primal movement, yoga, travel, martial arts, wellbeing education and one-on-one work didn’t give me answers - they gave me language, perspective and space. They showed that many people sit in the same place: not broken, not lost but quietly disconnected from themselves.

CIBI Essential exists because I realised how rare it is to have a space that welcomes that in-between phase before burnout, before breakdown, before labels. A space that values responsibility without pressure and reflection without indulgence.

I share because I have noticed what happens when questions go unspoken.
On the contrary, experienced how powerful it can be when someone is simply given permission to pause, notice and take ownership of their path.

CIBI Essential is my way of holding that space publicly, honestly and without pretending to have it all figured out.
